The Pipes and Drums of The First Royal Tank Regiment are all full time serving soldiers within the Regiment, they also provide musical services to the 1st Royal Tank Regiment. The Pipes and Drums are also available for most engagements from single piper to full band with dancing team. They have performed all over the word including:-
Denmark, Canada, USA, Kenya, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Finland, Thailand, Spain, Italy, Cyprus and also in the UK. They also have performed at the world famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the first ever Basel Tattoo in Basel Switzerland.
The Pipes and Drums are full time Tank Crewmen and CBRN specialists, who have served in varoius countries including:-
Bosina, Cyprus, Kuiwait, Iraq, Northern Ireland, Poland, Germany, Kenya, Kosovo and also in the UK.
